Thanks for the suggestion of a place to swim on the way to the airport; it was lovely. We bought some fruit from the farmer there, including a cocoa pod. I now have a bowl full of cocoa beans from which I have removed the white membrane. How can I make something chocolatey with it? Do I pound them in a pestle and mortar? What do I add? I'd be really grateful for a reply.Of the three places we stayed in Dominica, Cocoa Cottages was definitely the best for many reasons.Attached is a picture for you!
